Each year, Safeguard Roofing Pros gives back to the community by donating a full roof replacement to a local veteran. If you know a veteran who owns their home and is facing roofing challenges, we want to hear their story. There is absolutely no cost, no catch, and no pressure—just our family-owned team saying thank you for their service. The “One Veteran. One Free Roof. Every Year.” campaign was created by Safeguard Roofing Pros to honor deserving veterans in our community by providing one selected recipient with a roof replacement at no cost, subject to the rules, conditions, limitations, and eligibility requirements outlined below.
This campaign is intended as a community giveback initiative and is not a sweepstakes, lottery, or guarantee of services. No purchase necessary to nominate or participate.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for consideration, nominees must:

Be a current or former member of the United States Armed Forces

Own and occupy the home being nominated
-
Reside within Safeguard Roofing Pros’ designated service area
-
Be at least 18 years of age
-
Be willing to participate in inspections, interviews, photography, and video production related to the campaign
-
Provide proof of military service and home ownership upon request
Homes with unsafe conditions, severe structural deficiencies, legal disputes, environmental hazards, or conditions outside the scope of standard roofing replacement may be deemed ineligible at the sole discretion of Safeguard Roofing Pros.
Nomination Process
Nominations may be submitted by the veteran or by another individual on their behalf.
All information submitted must be truthful and accurate to the best of the nominator’s knowledge.
Safeguard Roofing Pros reserves the right to verify all submitted information and disqualify any nominee for false, misleading, incomplete, or fraudulent submissions.
Nomination Period
Nominations will be accepted beginning on the official campaign launch date and will close on October 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM CST.
Late submissions may not be considered.
Selection Process
Selection criteria may include, but are not limited to:

Personal story and community impact

Financial hardship or circumstances

Overall campaign fit and project feasibility

Top Five Finalists
Selected finalists may participate in:

Home inspections

Interviews

Photography sessions

Short documentary-style videos

Social media and public promotional content
Selection Period
After the nomination period closes, Safeguard Roofing Pros and campaign representatives will review all eligible submissions and select five (5) finalists.
Safeguard Roofing Pros plans to release 2–3 minute finalist spotlight videos highlighting each selected veteran’s story.
Public Voting
Following the finalist announcement, public voting may take place through Facebook and/or other official Safeguard Roofing Pros social media platforms.
Public voting is intended to serve as one factor in the overall selection process and will not solely determine the final recipient.
Safeguard Roofing Pros reserves the right to:

Monitor voting activity

Remove fraudulent, automated, duplicate, or manipulated votes

Disqualify entries associated with suspicious activity
-
Modify or end voting if technical or fairness issues arise
Final Selection Panel
The final recipient will be selected by a judging panel which may include representatives from:

TAMKO Building Products
-
Participating media partners
-
Veteran/community representatives
-
Event partners and sponsors
The decision of the judging panel shall be final.
Prize Details
One selected veteran recipient will receive a roof replacement provided by Safeguard Roofing Pros, subject to project limitations, product availability, property condition, permitting requirements, and company discretion.
The roof system, materials, color options, installation schedule, and scope of work will be determined by Safeguard Roofing Pros.
Prize has no cash value and may not be transferred, exchanged, substituted, or redeemed for cash.
Additional finalist prizes, sponsor gifts, vacations, gift cards, or consolation prizes may be awarded at the discretion of participating sponsors and partners.

Liability Disclaimer
Safeguard Roofing Pros reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate the campaign at any time for any reason, including but not limited to weather events, funding limitations, safety concerns, sponsor changes, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances.
Safeguard Roofing Pros, TAMKO, sponsors, partners, judges, and affiliates shall not be held liable for:
